The Portcullis Security Testing Team is one of the few "Green Light" CHECK Service providers in the country approved to test systems for both HM Government and those organisations which are part of the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI).

The IT Health Check Service, or CHECK, was developed to enhance the availability and quality of the penetration testing provided to Government Organisations in line with HMG policy. Companies belonging to CHECK are measured against high standards set by the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG). Therefore, HMG and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) customers can be assured that they will receive a high quality service if the work is carried out under the Terms & Conditions of the CHECK service.

As a CHECK Service member for UK Government security testing, we have been authorised to carry out CHECK tests in accordance with strict guidelines issued by the CESG. As CHECK Service Providers we are currently permitted to work on systems processing protectively marked information up to, and including, CONFIDENTIAL.

The CHECK service also requires that we deploy CESG approved, security-cleared engineers who are CHECK Team Members and led by CHECK Team Leaders who have passed the CHECK Service Assault Course. It is your guarantee that our expertise and experience helps ensure that CNI and UK Government systems are securely protected from malicious attacks and information theft.
