A Telephony Assessment provides assurance that an organisations telephony system and any data it stores or transmits over the network is secured to prevent unauthorised access.

Telephony systems are often found to have a connection into a company's main network infrastructure. Such connections are becoming more common with the adoption of Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems. It is important, therefore, to assess the threat from an attacker breaking out of the telephone system and into the main IT network.
