An independent review - a security test - attempts to find any vulnerabilities that can affect the system under test. It provides a different perspective and benefits from the skill sets and experience of a Portcullis Security Test Team. This service is the mainstay and focus of our company today, which is reflected both in the length of time we have been providing testing services and the depth of expertise we have developed over that time.

The Portcullis Security Test Teams (PSTT's) have been providing Security Assessments for over a decade. Our services include comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing . We have also been a provider of the CHECK Service since its formation in 1999: This service is controlled by the Communications-Electronics Security Group (CESG) from the Government Communications Head Quarters (GCHQ) in Cheltenham to authorise those service providers who have approval to carry out testing for HM Government and companies within the Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sector.

In addition, we are members of the Council for Registered Ethical Security Testers CREST which was created in response to the need for regulated and professional security testers to serve the global security marketplace.

The Portcullis Security Test Team is amongst the largest in the UK. Through our Security Testing Services, clients also have access to our consultancy and development teams. Portcullis security engineers inject different viewpoints and specialist knowledge into the testing process.

Portcullis' Security Testing Services provide a rigorous analysis of potential vulnerabilities in any organisation's network infrastructure to minimise the potential for exploitation by all forms of malicious attack.
