Tried, Tested and Proven

We would like to thank Abertay University, Abertay Ethical Hacking Society and the organisers of the Securi-Tay IV InfoSec conference, for the opportunity to sponsor the Securi-Tay IV after party.

On Friday February 28th, Portcullis travelled up to Dundee to attend the fourth annual Securi-Tay InfoSec conference. As followers of our @portcullislabs twitter account will already know, we had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed watching the thought-provoking talks given by industry leading experts; including Dr Jessica Barker and our own Graham Sutherland and Freaky Clown. After the conference, we all headed to the after party at Bar One sponsored by Portcullis and enjoyed the free bar and food. The team had some wonderful opportunities to talk to students throughout the night; including members of the Ethical Hacking Society at Abertay University (@AbertayHackers) and Digital Forensics Women (@DF_Women).

We are thrilled to have already received a number of applications for work and internships from some of the impressive candidates we met at this event. For those that missed a chance to speak to us but are interested in careers at Portcullis, please email your CV with a covering letter to jobs@portcullis-security.com.

We would like to congratulate the SecuriTay organisers for holding the largest, sell-out, Information Security conference in Scotland. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-tayside-central-31658543 We look forward to next year!
